Field Trips

Curriculum-based trips extend learning beyond the classroom. Each class takes at least one trip per year to locations that are aligned to literacy, social science, or science curricula. Sunrise students have taken field trips to Department of Defense's STARBASE, UCLA, Aquarium of the Pacific, The Getty Center, The Getty Villa, Robinson Gardens, Inner City Arts, The California Science Center, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and the Los Angeles Zoo.
